OM NOM NOM. Imagine a good version of Olive Garden (and that comparison really insults this place) Travinia Italian Kitchen did everything right. I had the Travinia Scampi (delicious), a Royal Manhattan and some wine (delicious, delicious) and tried my fiancee's Sinatra Chicken (not as good as my Scampi). We also started with the Bruschetta and the cured italian meats and olives platter -- good stuff all around. My only knock on this place is that toward the end of our meal on Friday night, a jazz trio started playing. It was so loud, it was shocking. Glad we were just finishing, because with our large family party of 8, it was impossible to hear more than the 3 people closest to you with these guys blaring music. Turn it down in the future to protect the ambiance!

Spaghetti was utterly dry and disgusting, bow tie pasta also tasted like ^%*+!, pretty sure McDonald's could've cooked it better. Fettuccini Alfredo was good but it was SUPER small. Luckily we had manager come over and she took it all off the bill. I can sum this place up in three words: disappointing, expensive and disgusting DON'T COME HERE!!

Excellent chicken marsala, shrimp scampi and kids pizza. My wife had some paper in her pasta and they quickly fixed her a new plate and took it off the bill. Server did a good job.

I have eaten here many times. The service is excellent. The menu has so many choices for everyone. Don't miss Italian Nachos. Sinatra chicken wonderful. Happy hour is fantastic. Martini's are delicious.

Loved this place! Went for new years, service was great, band was so much fun. Everything we ordered was delish! Prices were fair, and everyone really had a great time.

We were a party of four with no reservations on a Saturday night. It was early though, so we were seated immediately. After the circus type atmosphere of the boardwalk, this place was a welcome respite. I loved the tasteful decor, with the soothing earth toned colors, stacked stone and x-tra huge pendant lighting. The menu was decent, no real surprises or unique preparations. You had the apps, pizzas, pastas, veal, chicken, beef, seafood. Unfortunately, none of the pasta said "made in house," which was a bummer since I am a sucker for fresh noodles. The only thing I was really surprised with was the price of their veal chop. Normally this cut of beef commands about $40 and this was listed for $22! I was in need of carbs more than protein so I did not order it. I went with the bow tie pasta with shaved chicken and asiago cream sauce. The rest of the table went with veal and chicken parmigiana and a tuna tartar. The bread came out first, and oh yes a brick oven pizza with sausage that we ordered for an appetizer. The soft pillowy rosemary sprinkled focaccia was good, but nothing really authentic here. The server made a little presentation when preparing the olive oil, kind of doing a play by play as she ground some pepper onto a plate. Unnecessary but no big deal. The pie had good flavor, a nice yeasty crust, but the sausage was like ground beef. We prefer some heftier chunks. In the end, our party of four was well fed, but not overly impressed. I was surprised that I had to salt my dish to enhance the flavors and my husband claims his chicken parm was kind of bland. If I could give it 21/2 stars rather than the 3, I would. I might come back for a relaxing drink in the bar and a pizza, but that's about it. It's hard to pay for food that you can easily prepare at home with better results.

(Disclaimer, this review is for service only, as we were never even seated.) After my parents, who used to go here often, made a reservation 2 weeks out for our dinner, so we can see their friends play music here, we arrived nice and early and were seated in the kitchen(by no means a coveted chef's kitchen seating), the worst seat in the house. As we watched people walk up and be seated at much better tables, we were told they could move us in about 20 minutes to the next table over. The management was by no means professional, were rude and could care less about customers. As I said this review is based on the rude staff, we never had food. A real Mickey mouse operation.

I have been here twice now, and I will try and get back every time I return to Myrtle. So far, I've had the Lasagna Bolognese and the Sausage and Peppers Rustico. Both dishes were excellent, and I was exceptionally impressed with the bolognese sauce. Appetizers are standard for an Italian restaurant. Both times I was here with a group of 12 and the service was efficient.

I went with my family to eat at Travinia, and the only good thing I have to say is that the service was ok, because everything else was horrible. The tables were greasy and the fork and knives looked like they've never been washed. The food had no seasoning or taste to it. And the worst part was how ridiculously expensive our bill was after ordering only a couple of soups and salads and three entrees.($124.00 EXPENSIVE) My family and I will never return to Travinia. We were very disappointed, because Market Commons is a great place and very convenient to our Beach house.

I just moved to the area. The ambiance is great but the food was mediocre. I was so surprised because Market Commons has good restaurants and shopping. The only thing I like here is the Italian Nachos.

Hi, in SC this time, Tried this Restaurant on a suggestion by a friend, Going to talk to him later. Started with Pan Fried Calamari, well that's what the menu said, it was deep fried and heavily breaded and seasoned, losing the flavor of the squid. Next I tried the Crab Cakes, although good they could have been cooked a little longer and the sauce (Aioli) served with them was too overly heavy to be served with a delicate Crab Cake. Finished with the Angle Hair Pasta with Bolognese, Not at all a Bolognese just their Marinara with ground meat tossed in, (the Marinara from the Calamari was the clue) Pasta was over cooked and the sauce kind of ran off the pasta, a sign of too much oil in sauce. They should learn how to cook Bolognese as a Italian Chef this was an insult. To Management, time to dust and clean shelves above bar are very dusty as in all the places where it collects. Bartender should wash hands after handling money.

Not a bad place for italian food. From up north, this is probably the best that your gonna get. A little pricy for what you get.

If you are in Myrtle Beach and want to get away from the touristy, generic restaurants, come to the New Market Commons area and make sure to visit Travinia. The décor is modern, rustic, and really feels like home. The atmosphere is fun in the bar area, and comfortable and romantic in the dining room area. Service is always at it's best here, with knowledgeable, professional, and friendly staff. They are attentive and helpful, especially when helping pick out a wine from their extensive wine list. The menu is gracious without being too much to handle. The choices are endless, and everything is fresh and delicious with something for everyone. They are great about substituting things and are focused on detail. The presentation is something you would expect in a much more expensive and pretentious restaurant. The portions are perfect sized and not too much, so you can enjoy the flavors, and still have room for a scrumptious dessert. There is a private room you can rent, and their location is hard to beat. The only thing I would say they need to do is to accept reservations (mainly on Friday and Saturday night) for parties of 2 or more (instead of 8), or offer some sort of call-ahead feature, as it can get pretty busy. However, I feel like they might accommodate you if you call in advance and talk with a manager. An all-around enjoyable experience that keeps me coming back every time I visit Myrtle Beach!

Highly recommend this place. Whether you like authentic Italian or American Italian. Sat at the bar tonight for some vino. Very nice laid back casual atmosphere. Try the nachos! Yes I said nachos. You'll want them again.

Awesome food, decor, atmosphere and great Happy Hour deals. Hard to put all those things together correctly in Myrtle Beach in an Italian Restaurant. We go once a week and never have a bad experience. The manager seems on top of everything walking the floor consistently. Liz in the bar is a pleasure and attentive. Don't miss live jazz Friday with UNI Jazz Band.

Came here for a friend's birthday. We were a large party, about 16 people. They were not busy, but the service was so slow. Almost everyone at the table ordered drinks from the bar and they delivered each drink one at a time. We didn't get our drinks until 45 minutes after ordering and one of the drinks had a fly in it. We also had to ask for bread a few times before the waitress actually brought it out. When the appetizers came out, one of the nachos had no toppings on it whereas the other one was filled with toppings. When we finally got our food, I was not thrilled with the chicken cannelloni that I ordered, the chicken was overcooked. Only thing good here is the bread. We were there for a total of 3 hours, not happy with this place at all and will not be returning.

I've been to Travinia twice now, both times at lunch. On our first visit, we were disappointed with the service and the food, but had heard so many good things about the restaurant that we decided to wait a month or two and give it another try. After all, every restaurant can be caught at the wrong moment and just have a 'bad day'. So...we decided to give Travinia another try this weekend. We went in again for lunch and here is what our experience was: - Stood at the hostess desk for 5 minutes while the bartender and a waiter, after having seen us, both continued with their work, not acknowledging our standing there. Just before walking out the door, a very friendly waiter approached us and offered to seat us. So we stayed. - Friendly waiter says our waiter will be right with us and leaves. For the next 10 minutes, 3 other wait staff service tables around us (one behind us, one directly across the walkway from us), but none greet us or offer to get us a drink. Again, just on the verge of leaving, we are approached. - The waiter was personable enough and got our drink order, then returned to take our order. I had several questions about the entrees, and the waiter was knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered the Sinatra Chicken on his recommendation, as well as a side salad as an appetizer. (Sinatra Chicken is described as: grilled chicken breast topped with smoked pancetta, mozzarella cheese and a light semi-sweet Grand Marnier cream sauce with cappellini). - The salad (Caesar) was good, as was the bread that was delivered with it. The bread, however, was coated with a layer of butter, rendering it impossible to eat without getting your hands sticky from the butter. Not sure why they felt it necessary to coat the bread in butter since it was served with an olive oil dipping sauce, but that was the case. In spite of the messiness of it, the bread was fresh and was very good. - There was a bit of a delay before receiving the entrees, but it wasn't terribly excessive. I'd rather have a delay between courses than have them right on top of each other, so this was fine. The entrees were a nice size; not too much, not too little. The food was hot, nicely garnished, and presented well. The capellini was good, nicely seasoned with fresh herbs. The main course, however, was bland. The chicken breast was cooked well but lacked flavor; the sauce, which sounded wonderful, was indeed light but completely devoid of any flavor whatsoever. -Our waiter checked on us immediately after the entrees were delivered but did not return until time to drop off the check. There were no managers in sight, nor did one ever visit our table (or any tables that we could see). I think the biggest issue at Travinia is a compete lack of teamwork among the staff, which translates into very poor service. No one cared about taking care of the customer (like, greeting us at the door, at the table, making sure there was a short wait before drinks are offered, etc.). Each waiter took care of his section, and nothing else. When we left, we walked past 4 staff, none of whom even said 'thank you', 'goodbye' ,'come back and see us', or anything else. If the food were extraordinary, that might make up for the completely sub-par service; in their case, however, it wasn't. This was our last visit.

Stopped in for an appetizer and drink. My daughter had Barbeque Chicken Pizza. Very good. I had the Blood Orange Cosmo and the Fettuccine Alfredo Dip. Also very good. My husband had the Goat Cheese and Spinach Salad. Yummy! Server was knowledgeable and attentive. Big problem however was that their glassware was absolutely filthy. The flatware was spotless but the glasses were unbelievable. I peeked in the bar and it didn't seem to be a problem there. Would try it for dinner or lunch but check for cleanliness.

Good service. One of the best options for Italian in the Myrtle Beach area. One in our party required gluten free. They had many GF options and were very accommodating.

Pasta Mia Nona and Homestyle Cannelloni are very good. Not a big fan of the bread that's served but it's edible. Half off yummy martinis, I forget what days :)

Very unimpressed. Food was bland. Wife scallops had a bitter strange taste. I've had better eggplant parmesan at olive garden. Very disappointing especially with price. Go to tuscana if you want good Italian food.

Now THIS is a great place! I haven't been in years. It is so nice to know that it is still as great as I remember. Great atmosphere, amazing service, wonderful food. I had the pecan encrusted salmon and it was truly amazing. WOW! This is probably one of my favorite restaurants of all time, too bad the one at home (Greenville, SC) is the opposite in every way. Oh well, at least there's always the Travinia at Market Common in Myrtle. I'll definitely, definitely be back.

Great escape from a cold and rainy night. Everything we had was very well prepared. Crab cakes and salmon were outstanding. Granny apple salad was tasty and plenty large for two to share. But the best was last, the piece of wispy cheesecake that my wife has been searching for for years. Our server Phillip took good care of us. Overall a great dining experience. Sorry to hear the franchise hasn't made it to the northeast yet.

Went here on my 10th anniversary and mixed about what we had. I got the Sinatra chicken and was completely satisfied. Really good. My wife got the chicken parm and part was burnt and had little to no seasoning done. Had a band playing and that was too loud for such a small place. Needless to say we probably won't go back here again

Four of us ducked in for a late lunch after a movie (theater is only steps away.) We very happy with price, selection, and service. We had an apple salad, mushroom soup, chicken pesto pannini, and Pollo Isabela (goat cheese, sun dried tomatoes, and a tasty lemon butter sauce.) We all thought the food was tasty and were pleased with the light choices available for our group, we look forward to going back and trying the pasta entrees with wine.

Nicely decorated in that marble, wood, lights turned down low sort of way, a big glass wall separates the dining room from the kitchen which is cool. The server was friendly. My fiancé had the chicken piccata and said its the best she's ever had. I had the fettuccini Alfredo and it was as bland as it gets. I still don't get how you can mess that up. Their bread is hot, tasty, and the server brought us more without asking. It would have received two stars if not for my fiancé loving her dish.

A-Ok is good description for Travinia. The most memorable part of the experience was the decor. They did an amazing job. I take a star away for service. It was almost non-existent. Slow, unfriendly female service with a touch of an attitude. I also take a star away for the food. Just alright, nothing memorable or to bring me back screaming for more. As far as Myrtle Beach goes, this is by far one of the nicest restaurants I went to on my trip, but from this foodie's perspective it was just A-ok.

Disappointing.... We have been dining at Travinia's ever since they opened the Market Street location. Unfortunately, their service and food has been on a steady decline as of late and yesterdays meal sealed the deal for us, as we will not be going back anytime soon. Service was poor, bread was not brought out until we asked, wine glasses were wet and spotty. My favorite had been Sinatra chicken but no longer as it was very tough and the cause was bitter. Hopefully, the service and food will return to their previous attentive and delicious state.

We visit the Myrtle area a couple of times a year and always make a point to eat here twice each visit...love the decor and up to this latest visit, the food. Even though I have found the wait staff in the past to be aloof and sometimes borderline rude, the food has been the main attraction and the reason for each visit. Our current visit was very disappointing in that the crab cakes appeared to have been yesterday's leftovers and re-fried, burnt on the outside and cold in the middle. The accompanying orzso was soggy and greasy and also appeared to be reheated. The Margherita pizza was burned and dry. The server was great and did her best to address the situation. No immediate plans to return.

Dined here with my husband yesterday evening. It was our last outing before heading back to NC the next am. The ambiance is warm, romantic and welcoming. We arrived at 8pm an hr before closing and the hostess was extremely friendly and welcoming. We were promptly seated and greeted by a spunky server named Brett. He was such a sweetheart who offered great suggestions for wine. Bonus we received a free order of scrumptious Italian Nachos (courtesy of yelp). The house bread was also very fresh and delicious. Now onto the entrees my husband had the Veal Parm which he felt was missing salt and the veal was not properly seasoned. I had the Scampi Travinia which overall I loved just thought the chef went a little overboard with the oil. Overall happy campers as our server was awesome. The food could use some slight tweaking & if we had not dined so close to closing we might have sent our entrees back. I am giving 2 stars for the food and an additional star for our super sweet server.

Located in Market Commons. The service is really good. The bread is to DIE for, so, so yummy! Warm, soft... fresh out of the oven yummy! I ordered eggplant parmigiana. It was perfect. Sadly, I am only rating them three stars because they really are not vegetarian friendly. If I remember correctly, the eggplant was my only option besides eating a salad or ordering pizza. If they had more options for me... they would have received four stars. Again, the bread... yummmmmm!

I had a great salad tonight. I had the berry salad and the just too tempting and yummee bread with olive oil. Relaxing environment. I have been here several times and food is always good! Tonight, the hostess was friendly when greeted and my server Brett was outstanding. It's great to be able to go for a walk before and after your meal at the Market Common too, go shopping, or to the movies from here. Thanks for nice meal.

Nice atmosphere. My husband and I came for dinner. It was Wed night and they had a band playing. The music was not loud so we could talk. The food was so-so. My steak was nothing to rave about. Just regular. Side dish was mashed potato. I wish, they would add some veggies. My husband's meal was served as unappetizing mixture of pasta and chicken in what looked like big serving bowl. We will not be going back

We went here for our anniversary. We were visiting from Nashville. I was looking for a place that had a gluten free menu. They had a huge menu! I got the pasta with vodka cream sauce that was so delicious! We also took advantage of the 25% off a bottle of wine since it was Tuesday's deal. We got a free cheese plate with that. The service was excellent, as well. The restaraunt is in Market Commons which has a theater, upscale shopping, etc. We didn't even have to leave for the evening. It was great!

While vacationing with a total of 18 family members, we thought it would be impossible to all go out to dinner together. We were wrong. Travinia accommodated us marvelously. I first made a reservation for 13, just the afternoon of the day we wanted to go, and it was no problem. At the last minute, the remaining 5 decided to come along too. It wasn't an issue for the restaurant, and they were even able to seat us at one long table together. I was very, very pleased with how well they were able to handle such a large group. They also had no problem ringing up separate checks. The food came out shockingly fast for so many people. The food itself was really good. Being a New Yorker, I was surprised to find such good Italian food in the South. Everything was delicious; everyone cleaned their plates. There were no complaints from anyone. Amazing! They also have a really good wine list, and make excellent cocktails. All in all, I'd highly recommend Travinia, for anyone from a couple to a large group. The atmosphere is really nice, too. It's casual, but a more upscale casual. It's a bit off the beaten track, so it gets you away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip for a little while. It made for a great evening.

Went to Travinia tonight with my wife, mom and 1 year old son. We absolutely loved it. Great atmosphere. We got there at 6 just as a guitarist and female vocalist were warming up. Service was good not great. Antipasto was pretty good. My wife's salad looked pretty good but my moms Caesar salad wasn't special. Dressing was kinda bland, no hint of garlic really. The entrees were the star of the show by far. I got the veal saltimbocca and was richly rewarded. Simply amazing. Best VS I've ever had. Wife got seafood stuffed shells which she enjoyed- very rich. Mom got the filet mignon with capellini mushrooms. She ordered medium but it came to our table rare. Real rare. But the waitress apologized and it was quickly returned cooked properly with no further issues. It was pretty good as well. 4 stars for the veal saltimbocca alone but the other dishes were solid and there were lots of other appealing options on their brand new menu.

Good food. Awful service. They completely forgot about my father's steak. They did take it off the check and apologize profusely, so that's why I'm not giving them one star.

Didn't eat here, as we left when the 3 hostesses were the most unfriendly people I have seen at a restaurant. Maybe all 3 of them were having a bad day.

One reviewer hit the head on the nail with "there's no teamwork here, no care for the customer", "Not a lot of knowledge as to menu items", etc. When we got there, we ended up waiting quite a while to be seated, even though it wasn't overly crowded. They seemed to be short-staffed. When we finally did get seated, we waited a while to get our drink order taken. The waitress came over, not friendly, but not rude either. Just there. Seemed to be intent on getting us to order alcoholic drinks. She told us they were having a special today- sangrias are $3. We all heard her say that. One of us even said to her "$3 sangrias? How can you pass that up?" So we ordered a round for the table. The drinks came right out. We ordered our meals, and then waited, and waited, and waited. At one point, we ordered another round of our $3 sangrias, even stating that these were great sangrias for only being $3. The meal finally came, and to say the least, the sangrias were the most memorable part of the meal. It was mediocre Italian, in a town where there are some amazing italian restaurants! Not bad food, but not memorable. I honestly don't even remember what I ordered. So we muddled through the mediocre meal, and tolerated our mediocre service. Again, we waited forever for our check, and when we got it, we were charged...wait for it....wait for it...$6 per sangria. We again waited forever for the waitress to come back (actually, we had to ask another server to find her( go figure). We told her that she said the Sangrias were on Special for $3. She immediately got defensive and rude, and denied ever saying that. We told her that we all heard her and even commented that $3 was a good price. She said she had no idea where we got that price. She never said that. We pressed the issue, and she left. We were thinking she was going to get a manager. Nope! she came back for the payment. We asked her about the drinks. She said she told her manager, but there was nothing they could do. She never told us they were $3. At that point, we paid the bill, (obviously without a tip, since the service was below sub-par) and left. We've heard similar stories from friends about lack of care in service, confusion, and long wait times, not to mention a menu that is not very memorable. So in a nutshell, bad service, mediocre food, high prices. There are at least a dozen Italian restaurants in the immediate Myrtle Beach area that are hands down better Italian venues. And if you're looking to stay in the market common area, just try one of the other 12 or so restaurants. They may not be italian, but they are by far, better restaurants! Side note: an acquaintance had a 20 person dinner party there. They were told that there was a limited menu for large groups, and the price per person was set (and quite ridiculous). I still can't understand why a group of people were forbidden to order off the main menu. For some reason, they chose to still go there, but were also disappointed overall, stating average food at very high prices.

Fabulous! I enjoyed every bite! We started with the crab cake and it was amazing. I hade the shrimp and polenta (I can't remember the actual name of the dish). My husband has the veal Parmesan. We also ordered the Italian clam chowder...I didn't want it to end, it was so good and full of clams. We also ordered the Mac n cheese. How could I pass up Gouda and pancetta Mac n cheese! First time here and whenever we come back to myrtle beach we will definitely eat here.

My boyfriend and I wanted to have Italian food for dinner so the front desk at Springmaid Beach Resort suggested this restaurant to us. We absolutely loved it. The service was friendly and on top of that our server was humorous. We got free nachos from checking in at this place and they were DELICIOUS! As for our entrees, I ordered a traditional spaghetti bolognese with meatballs and my boyfriend ordered Piccata Style with veal meat. Both dishes were mouth watering and tasty. I highly recommend that you give this restaurant a shot!

Not good...price is high and service is bad. 2 nd time eating there had steak this last time poor quality and portion was very small my mom had a horrible chicken situation on her plate I spent 45.00 on the worst meal I ever ate. The time before I had a salad that was a joke laughable really! Pretty place that's all-

My favorite Italian place in Myrtle Beach. The service is always great here. We once ate here and we're having a great time, enjoying our drinks, in no hurry at all. I had ordered the Gorgonzola encrusted New York strip. The manager brought it out to me and apologized for it taking so long. She proceeded to knock everything off of my bill except for the two entrees. It ended up saving me about $30 but I hadn't complained a bit. We were having a great time. That's how they treat you here. Things have to be at their level or they're not happy with it. The steak by the way was amazing. Tip: try the Italian nachos...they're not on the normal menu. They are out of this world.

Come early I heard there's a long wait for dinner & all weekend long. The crab cakes w/orzo rice, scallops w/puréed sauce, goat cheese baked spinach salad & vegetarian sandwich was all so delicious! Service was prompt, friendly & informative about the items on the menu. The restaurant is clean & decor is perfect. I'll definitely be back for my next visit.

So second visit as good as the first! I ordered roasted chicken and substituted artichoke pesto risotto for mashed potatoes. Sooo good! It is nice to have different side choices. Atmosphere so peaceful. Nice server as well.

Sat at the bar for one drink before heading to the movies with friends. Service was quick and friendly. Loved the bar setting. The bar is recessed and the chairs are like regular dining room chairs, not tall backless stools. Very comfortable setting. Our friends rave about this place but told us to never sit in the dining area because table service is spotty and slow. We are looking forward to returning due to the positive experience at the bar area.

Called a few hours ahead to make a reservation for a larger party of 8. They were extremely accommodating and our table was ready as soon as we arrived. On Fridays there is live Jazz music playing and it made for nice background music during dinner. We started with salads and both the Cesar and the Apple salad were delicious. We all ordered our meals from chicken piccata to chicken Parmesan it was All made to perfection! They have wonderful gluten free options and are very celiac friendly! Enjoyed our meal thoroughly and had fantastic service!!

Went for lunch. We discovered this place at the end of our vacation, wish we had found it sooner. Everything was soooooooooooo good, the food was amazing, prices were reasonable, service was excellent, the best place we visited in Myrtle Beach. Could not find fault in anything.

One of the best meals we've had while in Myrtle Beach. My husband had the she crab soup, crab cake appetizer, scamp travinia and the cheesecake with strawberry topping. He commented that it was all fantastic. The bread is amazing! Some of the best I've ever eaten. Even the sweet tea was great. Our server was Kimmie. She was very polite and professional. We were more than happy with her service. I didn't care for the house salad but, with everything else so perfect it didn't bother me so much. The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. We will be back.

We went for the gluten free pasta for our boy. 10 minutes after we ordered they told us that they didn't have any today. We went with another option that was mediocre. The portions were small and the pasta was way over cooked. My wife's chicken was under seasoned. My other boy got a child's spaghetti and meatballs that had barely any sauce. The service slowed to a crawl when they got busy.

The first time I came to Travinia, I ordered the Sinatra Chicken, and have not been able to order anything else since. It is so good. Fresh bread with EVOO is on the table in minutes. The salad is fresh and delicious. This is a very nice, beautifully decorated Italian restaurant. Food and alcohol are served at the bar as well as at tables. A private room is available to accommodate parties. On weekend evenings they have live bands playing, to add to the ambiance. Service is excellent. I love this place.

This restaurant is excellent! You can smell the great Italian cooking the minute you walk in. The Italian nachos are a must have. I had the rigatoni with braised beef, and my partner had the grouper. Both were superb. Wines were excellent and reasonable in price. If you visit Myrtle Beach, don't miss this great restaurant.

My favorite All dinners come with fresh, out of oven, garlic loaves.. Chicken Marsala.. Great.. Ask for a tad more sauce & mushrooms.. That way you can Scrape the sauce with your finger.. No need to wash plate..

Nice place. Had veal parmesan and lasagna Bolognese both very tasty. Will definitely be back. Great menu selections and extensive wine list. Has a wine bar if you dont come for dinner. Did not have dessert the food portions were huge. A good Italian restaurant in the south!

Came today based on Yelp and found it to be very nice place! Service was great and if you have a chance ask for Craig as he is wonderful and very good with kids!!!! Food was fantastic and wine list was good, not great. Had a selection of all types and quality. Recommend to all.

If I stare out the window I would expect to see gondolas in Venice. Oh wait, snap out of it... we are in the USA... but from the EVOO and dipping additives to the piping hot bread to the entrees, one would think they were in Italy. Several trips here to dine. Best of the lot at Market Commons. Consistently good service and food. Dined w/ kids... while young teens, must say the kids menu has awesome large portions... and can even be split between two. Adult portions are large to... so note to anyone listening... with all the bread served, a salad, a couple with moderate appetite can split a single entree. We always leave w/ a clamshell to go. SaleebScore: Food 9/10 Service: 9/10 Value 9/10

Again, the bread... yummmmmm!

Excellent chicken marsala, shrimp scampi and kids pizza. My wife had some paper in her pasta and they quickly fixed her a new plate and took it off the bill. Server did a good job.

Loved this place! Went for new years, service was great, band was so much fun. Everything we ordered was delish! Prices were fair, and everyone really had a great time.

Love the food and the atmosphere! The live music is a great addition. A little heavy on the rosemary in certain dishes.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
